The Santa Monica is our best-selling mid-century modern dining table, featured in Dwell Magazine and handcrafted to order by Amish woodworkers in Ohio. A 1" solid hardwood top with a curved, semi-elliptical shape and double-chamfered edge sits on angled, tapered legs with a soft round-over profile. Add up to three 18" extension leaves when you need room for more guests.

• 64" × 32/36" — seats 4–6
• 72" × 34/38" — seats 6–8
• 84" × 36/40" — seats 8–10

Need more room? Leaves for the 84" table and a 108" table (seats 10–12) are available by quote. For other dimensions, tell us what you have in mind.

Extension leaves

Choose no leaf or up to three 18" leaves. Each leaf adds 18" of length, about two more place settings. A third leaf comes with a center support leg.

Wood and finish

• Wood: Solid natural Cherry, Hard Maple, White Oak or Eastern Walnut
• Lumber: Kiln-dried hardwood, selected for long grain and minimal knots
• Finish: Catalyzed lacquer and Rev Oil, 10 sheen
• Sourcing: FSC-certified, responsibly harvested American hardwood

Construction and delivery

• Tabletop: 1" thick solid hardwood, curved semi-elliptical shape with a double-chamfered profile

Until recently, we relied mostly on Freight Shipping with Threshold Delivery, which required an additional fee for White Glove service. But now, thanks to these significant improvements, we can provide you with an even better experience. For orders placed after July 1, 2023, we will work with well-vetted and highly experienced Independent Carriers who will transport your furniture to your home and assemble it in your preferred room. In cases where Freight Shipping remains the best or only option, we will promptly inform you.
