The Story:

The Lanakai. Named after one of the most beautiful and serene beaches of Oahu....

I worked on this table for roughly 3 months. There is so much love in this piece, and I think it shows. Every detail was obsessed over. Jump over to our Instagram to see some of the build processes.

This is an original leg system design you won't see anywhere else. The V shape of the legs evokes a Danish/Midcentury feel without being too literal (or retro) as the idea of this piece was to build something that would be timeless, like so many of the great designs of that era.

The top is highly figured A+ walnut I've been personally hoarding for several years from our "normal" Moderncre8ve orders and represents some of the best of the best figured lumber plucked of thousands and thousands of board feet of walnut we use from Amish suppliers.

Joinery wise, the table features Blind tenons, lap joints, and through tenons that are pinned with solid brass rods. A singular custom "boomerang" brass inlay is featured on the tabletop.

-Reverse bevel edge chamfer with eased edge radius. Legs system is rounded over and the stretcher connecting the legs features a cove profile.

Free Shipping on All Orders

We Have Recently Made Some VERY Positive Changes to Our Shipping Processes

What this means for our customers is that you can expect over 95% of our deliveries to be made in-home, with assembly included. Until recently, we relied mainly on Freight Shipping with included Threshold Delivery, and the need to charge an additional fee for White Glove level of service, so this is HUGE! For all orders placed after July 1, 2023, we will be booking all orders possible with well-vetted and extremely experienced Independent Carriers to transport your furniture to your home, and assemble it in your room of choice. There will still be instances where Freight Shipping is the best and / or only option, and in those instances, we will be in touch to convey this.

Average Delivery Times

Once your order ships, average delivery is 7-12 business days depending on your delivery location relative to us in Cleveland, Ohio. Hawaii and Alaska orders travel by sea freight, with an average of 12-18 business days after the fabrication of your order is complete. Canadian customers can expect an average of 9-12 business days.
